Green- 2017 Color of the year
Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises.

Happy New Year to all!
Welcoming the new year with one of my favorite colors! Also known as 15-0343 Greenery, Green is the Pantone’s color of the year.
Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, rebirth, freshness and fertility.
Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety.
Manifesting as a “fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring”, Greenery promotes the notion to breathe, invigorates and encourages us to reconnect with nature and outdoor experiences.
Pantone’s executive director Leatrice Eiseman simply puts it:
“Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.”
Green also embodies the importance of natural aesthetics and society’s pursuit for natural balance.
There are also physical effects when you are surrounded by green: “Your pituitary gland is stimulated. Your muscles are more relaxed, and your blood histamine levels increase, which leads to a decrease in allergy symptoms and dilated blood vessels, aiding in smoother muscle contractions”.
In short, green is calming, stress-relieving, invigorating and refreshing. It’s been shown to improve reading ability and creativity.
See how easily can green become part of your wedding palette since it’s the color of all greenery!
Starting off with your invitations, favors and then floral decoration or even dessert table, incorporate various hues of green to your design.
If you think just green is too much for you, try mix it with other colors, such as peach, gold, ochre or even apple red!
See our favorite combinations.
Hope you enjoy green as much as we do! Can’t wait to use it in our next wedding project!
Until then…use it everywhere…it’s only natural!
XoXo
